Fort Myers Beach Mosquito Control District is not a part of the Town government for the Town of Fort Myers Beach.  The District is an independent taxing district and the Town has no authority or control over the District's funding, resources or activities.  The information provided here is for the convenience of our residents and businesses in contacting the Mosquito Control District for issues or concerns. 

The Fort Myers Beach Mosquito Control District checks regularly for larvae activity in standing water, and at the same time adult mosquito activity, to determine if spraying is necessary.

Spraying by truck can only be done from dusk to dawn if winds are below 10 MPH.
